3.1 Google Services

The App uses Google Analytics 4 (Firebase Analytics) to analyze app usage. Google uses cookies and device identifiers to collect user information and analyze app usage.

The App uses the OpenWeatherMap API to retrieve weather information. Location information is sent to OpenWeatherMap's servers to obtain local weather data. Sent location information is used solely for the purpose of providing weather information.

- When required by law (court orders, requests from law enforcement agencies, etc.)

4.1 Data Storage Location
- Local Storage: User profile, hydration logs, app settings, etc. are stored in AsyncStorage within the device. This data is stored only on the device and is not sent to the cloud.
- Firebase Servers: Anonymous authentication information and analytics data are stored on Google's Firebase servers.
4.2 Retention Period
- Local Data: Retained until the user uninstalls the App or manually deletes the data.
- Firebase Analytics Data: Subject to Google's data retention policy (typically 14 months).
- Authentication Information: Retained until the user deletes their account, or may be automatically deleted after long periods of app inactivity.
4.3 Security Measures
We take the following measures to protect your information:
- Protection against unauthorized access to device data
- Utilization of industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase
- Encryption of communications via HTTPS
5. User Rights
You have the following rights:
5.1 Data Deletion
If you wish to delete the App's data, you can request deletion using the following methods:
- Uninstalling the App will delete all local data stored on the device

5.2 Information Disclosure Request
If you wish to request disclosure of personal information we hold about you, please request by email. We will respond within a reasonable period after identity verification.
5.3 Advertising Opt-out
If you wish to opt out of personalized advertising, you can reset your advertising identifier or disable ad personalization from your device settings:

- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
5.4 Analytics Opt-out
If you wish to stop analytics data collection, please uninstall the App. This will stop all data collection.
6. Location Information Handling
The App uses location information to obtain weather data:
- Location information is collected only with user consent
- Collected location information is sent to the OpenWeatherMap API and used solely for obtaining weather information
- Location information is not stored by the App or on our servers
- You can disable location permission at any time from your device settings
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 is using the App, we will immediately delete the relevant data. We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. When changes are made, we will update this page and change the Last Updated date.
